WATER 15mm cold water service only; water supply can be from high or low level storage or mains.
Water supply is separately isolated at unit.
No external hot water supply is required.
It is essential that the entering water is cold, i.e. cold water service should not be run adjacent to a hot water service pipe, or it should be fully insulated. If the entering water is too warm the Clos-o-Mat will not function correctly (drying cycle will not operate).
SOIL CONNECTION Soil pipe connector is supplied to order with the Clos-o-Mat. Standard outlets suitable for "P" trap through the wall (180mm floor to centre) or "S" trap through the floor (150mm wall to centre).
Connectors for other wall to centre dimensions (90mm to 250mm) available on request.
ELECTRICAL
Electrical installation should be in accordance with I.E.E. Regulations (current edition).
220/240v single phase AC supply is required, (loading 6 to 8 amp, maximum power 1500 watts). The Clos-o-Mat is supplied with 3 core cable attached.
Unit should be fused to 10 amps.
A fused spur outlet should be located adjacent to the unit preferably on R.H.S. facing. This must not have a switch if the unit is in bath or shower area.
OVERFLOW The Clos-o-Mat has an internal overflow which discharges into the W.C. pan through the discharge outlet valve (flush valve).
Clos-o-Mat should be fitted on a level base.
Clos-o-Mat is not normally suitable for turned trap outlet. For this application it may be necessary for the unit to be pulled forward to accommodate the soil pipe bend.
The outer case can be cut if the unit is to be left hand turned trap (facing unit) and soil pipe connector specified to provide outlet within the confines of the case.
This cannot be done for right hand turned trap applications - the unit must be pulled forward and fitted away from rear wall.
If the unit is fitted away from the rear wall we would recommend some form of support between the unit and the wall e.g. boxing in or casing. Details can be found here.
Hand rails or other obstructions should not be fitted across the front or top of the unit. The white outer case has to be pulled upwards and forward to remove for service access.
If either extended douche option is specified, space must be made to accommodate the douche arm which extends beyond rear of casing. Refer to diagram.

BATHROOM/SHOWER ROOM INSTALLATIONS
Particular attention should be paid to l.E.E. Regulations when the unit is to be fitted in a bathroom or shower area. We recommend isolation external to the room.
The Clos-o-Mat must not be in direct line with the shower spray; some form of protection between shower and Clos-o-Mat should be fitted to prevent any water spraying on to the equipment.
Any shower must not be used whilst seated on Clos-o-Mat.
Clos-o-Mat has IPX4 rating.
